Vorarlberg is one of Austria’s nine federal states and is situated on the border to Switzerland. The region is a mountainous paradise and for the winter-sports fan there are never-ending possibilities for fun and enjoyment. Vorarlberg is comprised of six beautiful holiday regions which are hives of activity at all times of the year - Alpenregion Bludenz, Arlberg, Bodensee-Alpenrhein, Bregenzerwald, Kleinwalsertal

Bodensee-Alpenrhein |
The borders of Voralberg are all marked by natural features. In the North the border is marked by the Bodensee (Lake Constance), in the West the Rhine marks the border with Switzerland and Liechtenstein and in the South and East the border is formed by the Alps themselves. The three towns Bregenz, Dornbirn and Feldkirch
are the centres of the region and offer a great mix of different of cultural activities and attractions. A definite ‘must-see’ is the Bregenzer Festspiele
where you can watch really spectacular shows on the biggest lake-stage in the world. |

Bregenzerwald |
The Bregenzerwald forest is one of the most unique regions in the Alps. The Bregenzerache valley has been preserved in its pristine, unspoilt natural condition. The Kleinwalsertal region is the perfect destination for all "mountaineering
